  Fast-rising singer, Omah Lay on Sunday confirmed his arrest by police in Uganda on Saturday. Naija News had earlier reported that the singer and Tems were arrested in Uganda for flouting COVID-19 protocols while performing on Saturday night at a concert held at Speke Resort. The deputy police spokesman, Kampala Metropolitan disclosed that the Nigerian singers were arrested by Katwe police, together with the venue manager Ivan Dungu and events manager Prim Kasana. The singer in his reaction on Twitter stated that everything will be okay and efforts are being made to ensure his release. “Yes I’m with the Ugandan police.  Nigerian music stars, Stanley Omah Didia aka Omah Lay and Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems, have been arrested in Uganda hours shortly after a concert. The news of their arrest was made public by an assistant superintendent of police in the country identified as Owoyesigyire (@lukowoyesigyire) on social media, on Sunday, December 13. According to the officer who doubles as a police spokesperson, the managers of the venue where the concert was held have also been nabbed by the police. He said: "Nigerian Artist Omah lay has been arrested by katwe police, the manager of the venue one Dungu Ivan and the Events manager Prim Kasana are also in custody."   Nigerian singer Simi has got her fans and followers talking after she shared a video on her official Instagram page. The video showed the beautiful mother of one in bed with a young white guy. Dressed in a silky short spaghetti-like dress, her face was made up and she donned a black fringe-bob hair.
