  A former dramatist, Doyin Hassan, has lost his wife, Bolanle after 10 years of being together. Funloaded learnt that the wife of the former actor in Mount Zion Drama Ministries gave up the ghost on December 9, 2020, at the age of 57. Further reports revealed that body of the late Evangelist will be laid to rest on 18 December 2020 at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, in Ogun State. Naija News understands that Bolanle and Hassan came across each other at the Mount Zion Ministries and eventually got married after acting in various roles.

 The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has reacted to the detention of Nigerian singer, Omah Lay and Tems in Ugandan police custody. Recall that Omah Lay alongside his colleague Tems was arrested for flouting COVID-19 rules in Uganda. The Police also charged both artistes to court on Monday and said they would be in custody till Wednesday. Omah Lay had also on his Twitter page said the authorities in Uganda are preventing the Ministry of aviation from securing their release. Reacting Dabiri-Erewa in a tweet thread said the Nigerian government was doing everything possible to sort the issue. She tweeted, “It has just been brought to our attention. We are doing everything possible to get it all sorted #FreeOmahLay, she tweeted.

While Omah Lay was taken to Kitalya prison, his compatriot and colleague Tems was taken to Kigo prison. It was further learnt that they will be appearing before a Ugandan High Court on Wednesday, December 16. They are being charged with "negligently doing acts likely to spread infectious diseases." Music promoter @davidsancez256 tweeted; Finally, @temsbaby & @Omah_Lay are taken to Kitalya prison and Tems is taken to Kigo prison, Omah Lay is taken to kitalya prison until 16 Dec 2020 and the event organisers /Promoters and they will have to appear to High Court on Wednesday.

  Nigerian superstars Omah Lay and Tems have been charged to court by the Ugandan police force after the duo reportedly broke COVID-19 rules in the country. The Ugandan police force shared on Twitter that the two have been charged to court and will be remanded till Wednesday. According to their Twitter post the two were supposed to released on bond today but it was suspended after their casefile was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP. Photos of the two in court have also been shared on social media.
