Mr. Eazi announces release of Omah Lay, Tems from Ugandan police custody

Omah Lay and Tems had been arrested on Sunday 13th of December in Uganda for flouting the COVID -19 preventive measures laid down by the authorities of the country.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, Mr. Eazi wrote;


“Pleased to hear that My brothers and sisters are to be released & the case is resolved, Big love to everyone who worked on this & Special thanks to @adoniaayebare & The Government of Uganda, Chief Of Justice In Uganda. African relations must keep fostering strong!


“On the said issue, Promoters must adhere to Rules and Regulations & be held accountable for flouting these rules. We African Creatives get Little or no support, for the soft power & amount of Jobs we create! The sector must be looked at holistically! God bless Africa.”

Fast & Furious Star Ludacris Speaks Out on the Series Ending

It was announced last month that the Fast & Furious movies, which began back in 2001,  would be coming to an end after the 11th film . This was certainly a shock to many fans, especially since it felt like the movies had the potential to go on forever. However, some of the franchise's cast have positive thoughts on the news.
